The textile industry in Pakistan and China has a lot of potential for collaboration.

China and Pakistan are two of the world's largest textile producers, meaning their goods are often exported to other countries. This can create a sense of competition between them as they both try to make as much money as possible.


The two countries are at different stages of industrial development, but that also leaves plenty of room for cooperation. That's what Mr. Zhang Xi’an, vice president of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles stated in an exclusive interview with China Economic Net.


Pakistan, for example, is one of the leading cotton producing countries in the world. They are ranked among the top five for yield.
