Pakistan shows strength in its cotton supply!

According to the latest figures from Pakistan Cotton Ginners’ Association (PCGA) Pakistan has significantly increased its cotton production to underline the importance of the textile industry. Over 7.346 million bales of cotton have arrived in 2021-22 season that is an increase of 37% compared to 5.370 million bales during last season.

Punjab was the main driver in volume who increased by 17.81% year-on-year to 3.838 million bales compared to cotton arrivals in Sindh province were up by 66.12 percent to 3.508 million bales on Jan 1, during the current cotton season (2021-22)
